X-ray holography

Federal Scientific Research Center "Crystallography and Photonics", Russian Academy of Sciences, Shubnikov Institute of Crystallography, Russian Academy of Sciences, Leninskii prosp. 59, Moscow, 119333, Russian Federaion

Different X-rays holographic methods are reviewed. Their features and capabilities are discusses. Particular attention is paid to fluorescence holography method, which allows to obtain three-dimensional local structure images of ordered objects with atomic resolution. On concrete examples it is proved that X-ray holography is a unique nondestructive structural characterization method for a wide class of objects.
