Магнитоэлектрические материалы и мультиферроики

Минувшее десятилетие характеризовалось значительным ростом активности в области исследования материалов, в которых проявляется взаимосвязь магнитных и электрических свойств. В обзоре рассмотрены основные виды магнитоэлектрических взаимодействий, их механизмы и условия возникновения. Особое внимание уделено средам, магнитоэлектрические свойства которых проявляются при комнатных температурах, поскольку такие материалы являются перспективными для практических применений. На конкретных примерах обсуждаются возможные приложения магнитоэлектрических материалов и мультиферроиков в области информационных и энергосберегающих технологий.
