The paper analyzes the issues of development of technology for creating solid-state detectors of various types for optical astronomy. The principles of construction of astronomical photodetector systems based on large-format CCD and CMOS sensors are considered. Examples of the most effective projects with their application are given. The history of creation of optical detectors for domestic telescopes is described, the description and characteristics of the developed systems are briefly given. The results of tests in the course of real research are presented. The prospects of creating large-format photodetector systems based on CCD and CMOS detectors of domestic and foreign production are discussed.
