We provide a review of recent research concerning the interference of several scattering channels of synchrotron radiation with wavelengths near the atomic absorption edges in crystals. The experimental conditions and theoretical approaches that yield the possibility of separating the contributions to the intensity of Bragg reflections from different types of scattering are considered, specific examples of studies are given, and the role of interference is discussed. It is shown that the resultant data yield unique information about different types of ordering (structural, charge, magnetic, etc.) at the atomic level and their dynamic behavior under external influences.
