Neutrino masses and interactions and neutrino experiments in the laboratorya Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics, Dubna, Moscow Region, Russian Federation b Department of Nuclear Physics and Biophysics, Comenius University, Mlynská dolina F1, SK–842 15, Bratislava, Slovakia c Czech Technical University in Prague, Jugoslávských partyzánů 1580/3, Prague, CZ-12800, Czech Republic The atomic nucleus offers a unique opportunity to study fundamental properties and interactions of neutrinos. The main subjects of interest are the nature of neutrinos (Dirac or Majorana), mass hierarchy, the absolute scale of neutrino masses, and possible additional sterile neutrinos. In this review, recent progress in the field of laboratory measurements of fundamental properties of neutrinos is briefly presented.
