Properties of acoustic polarization vectors in crystals and the phonon Hall effect

The properties of acoustic phonon polarization vectors in high-symmetry crystals are considered. Elliptic polarization of phonons in the presence of a magnetic field is shown to occur in crystals with the spin-phonon coupling.
