Possible existence of asymptotic freedom of gravitational interactions in nature

Institute for Nuclear Research, Russian Academy of Sciences, prosp. 60-letiya Oktyabrya 7a, Moscow, 117312, Russian Federation

The possibility of existence of asymptotic freedom of gravitational interactions, i.e., that gravitational interactions become weaker on increase in the mass density, is discussed. In spite of all differences between the ’string’ approach and the formalism discussed in the paper, a future full picture of the Universe may possibly have many features in common with the ’string’ approach.
