Манганиты лантана и другие магнитные проводники с гигантским магнитосопротивлением

Дан обзор кристаллографических, магнитных и электрических свойств манганитов лантана и родственных материалов с гигантским магнитосопротивлением (ГМС). Анализом экспериментальных данных для частично замещенных манганитов лантана показано, что состояние этих материалов с ненасыщенным спонтанным магнитным моментом есть двухфазное ферро-антиферромагнитное и один из возможных механизмов ГМС состоит в изменении такого состояния полем. В области насыщенного ферромагнитного состояния эти материалы обнаруживают пик сопротивления вблизи точки Кюри, который вызван взаимодействием носителей заряда с пространственными флуктуациями электрического потенциала и локальной намагниченности. Подавление этого пика магнитным полем ведет к ГМС ферромагнитных проводников.
