Three models of time-of-flight neutron reflectometers operating on compact accelerator neutron sources (CAS) are discussed. CASs can be built on the premises of industrial facilities, and the reflectometers can become part of the manufacturing process for industrial prototypes for environmental, hydrogen energy, chemical, construction, and electronics industries. The scientific and technological foundations of the DARIA CAS project, already developed in Russia, are presented. It features a flux density of up to 1012 n s-1 cm-2, with pulse frequencies and durations optimal for neutron research. A review of a wide range of problems solved for industrial applications is presented.
