Development of quantum measurement methods (Methodological notes on part of Einstein’s scientific legacy)

Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Physics, Leninskie Gory 1 build. 2, Moscow, 119991, Russian Federation

Historical development of indirect quantum measurements is briefly reviewed. Using several examples, considerable resources are shown to exist for increasing the sensitivity of various types of quantum measurements.
