Новые подходы к механизмам нарушения электрослабой симметрии

Поразительные экспериментальные достижения в физике элементарных частиц за последние десять лет укрепили статус Стандартной модели (СМ) как теории, успешно описывающей природу. Но эти результаты также показали, что плотность материи, входящей в СМ, составляет примерно 5% от плотности энергии Вселенной; поэтому необходимо вводить в рассмотрение физику за пределами СМ, хотя прямое экспериментальное подтверждение ее существования все еще безнадежно отсутствует. Сектор, отвечающий за спонтанное нарушение электрослабой симметрии в СМ, мог бы дать первые намеки на появление этой новой физики в экспериментах. Цель настоящего обзора состоит в том, чтобы после краткого введения в физику СМ и стандартный механизм Хиггса ознакомиться с подходами, предложенными в последнее время для объяснения динамики, ответственной за нарушение электрослабой симметрии.
