Ферромагнетики с памятью формы

Ферромагнитные сплавы, обладающие эффектом памяти формы, позволяют реализовать большие обратимые деформации за счет перестройки мартенситной доменной структуры в магнитном поле. Намагничивание системы за счет смещения границ структурных доменов возможно в веществах с большой магнитокристаллической анизотропией, когда перестройка мартенситной структуры энергетически выгодна по сравнению с переориентацией магнитных моментов. В ферромагнитных сплавах Гейслера Ni2+xMn1-xGa температура Кюри превышает температуру мартенситного превращения. Температуры этих фазовых переходов близки к комнатной температуре, что открывает возможности практического использования магнитного управления формой и размерами ферромагнетиков в мартенситной фазе. На монокристаллах Ni2+xMn1-xGa в полях ~ 1 Тл достигнута обратимая деформация ~ 6%.
