К 150-летию со дня рождения Дж.К. Максвелла


Максвелловский «Трактат об электричестве и магнетизме»

В этой небольшой статье (скорее из набросков,нежели обзорной) мы хотим поделиться некоторыми ассоциациями, которые должны (так нам кажется) возникать при знакомстве с «Трактатом об электричестве и магнетизме» у людей, занимающихся спустя столетие все той же максвелловской электродинамикой. Для советских физиков это знакомство будет облегчено изданием в ближайшее время полного перевода «Трактата» в издательстве «Наука».
