Isotopically selective photoionization for the production of the medical radioisotope $177Lu

This review presents the results on isotopically selective photoionization of lutetium using tunable dye lasers pumped by copper vapor lasers as applied to the problem of obtaining the 177Lu radionuclide for medical applications.
