About recognition of mirror-like objects

In this work the problem of the visual recognition of mirror-like objects, i.e., bodies with ideally smooth (analytical) surface is discussed. The visual perception of such objects is essentially dependent on their environment—unlike bodies with an uneven (rough) surface, whose visual images are environment-invariant.
