Nanostructures under extremes

Institute of Problems of Chemical Physics, Russian Academy of Sciences, Chernogolovka, Moscow Region, Russian Federation

This paper reviews current research into the behavior of nanostructures under extreme conditions such as high temperatures, irradiation, and deformation. It describes methods for enhancing the stability of nanostructures under these conditions and identifies aspects that have not yet been given sufficient attention.
