Comments on the paper “Coherent four-photon spectroscopy of low-frequency molecular librations in a liquid” by A F Bunkin, A A Nurmatov, and S M Pershin

The results outlined in the paper published in the journal Uspekhi Fizicheskikh Nauk (see Usp. Fiz. Nauk 176 (8) 883 (2006) [Phys. Usp. 49 (8) 855 (2006)]) are analyzed. The interpretation of all the spectra presented is shown to be unsatisfactory, thus compromising the conclusions of the paper.
